Boot scootin’ and cowboy struttin’

Milo shows his stuff, Aug. 17, 2012

Marie and I had our first Line Dancing lesson this morning and we had a ball.  Marie even wore her cowgirl boots and you can bet that’s the first thing I’ll invest in when I get to Nashville this weekend. Among our classmates are Milo Burnham in front and Armando de la Cruz, right.

Incidentally, today we celebrated Marie’s 65th you know what.  She’s finally caught up with the rest of us.

Our friend Helen (formerly Calvert) found a great outfit to wear while line dancing.  She is pictured as left with her friend Jim.

We all had a ball dancing,  and Marie commented that one year ago today, she competed in a decathlon.

“Line dancing is much harder,” she exclaimed.  Well be using our new skills in September when we attend the Dulcimer Festival in Mountain View, Arkansas.

Judy will play her dulcimer while Marie, Norma and I cut a rug.   Lordy, we may begin a whole new career.
