Citizens are encouraged to get their bikes in gear and ride them to work on Friday when the country celebrates National Bike to Work Day.

I’m going to have a challenge since I turned my bike into a sort of plant stand after it rusted back in ‘79. I retired it when my bellbottoms got caught in the spokes and I flipped it. Sprained my wrist and darn near broke my nose.

My second problem is that my town requires a helmet or you can get ticketed. I never bought one since I spend way to much time and money on my hair to squish it down with one of those funny looking hats. I’m thinking I might be able to get by with an aluminum salad bowl turned upside down.
