What ever happened to Easter bonnets and parades? They seem to have gone the way of the dinosaur.
Joyce Boone’s four year old granddaughter, Ella, has decided it’s time to return to the wearing of a bonnet on Easter Sunday. She was in a “school” Easter Parade yesterday, and had her parents, 2 sisters, 2 grandmothers, 1 grandfather, and 2 great-grandmothers all there to watch her stroll in the Easter Parade.
I’m heartened to know that somewhere on the planet the tradition is alive and well.
