Barely a whisper remains of our Big Snow this week, but we’ll not soon forget the wonderland that it created.
Funny, how the rattiest garden (including mine) looked magical under that white blanket which we figure totaled seven inches in some locations.
I miss it already and just hope I live long enough to see another.
Predictions are for highs in the 50s today and 60s tomorrow.
I didn’t leave the house for two days because my vehicle looked like an armored truck (below). When I finally got it cleaned off, I discovered my windshield was riddled with cracks. What’s that about?
I ventured out once – to take these photos and to make snowballs which went straight into the freezer. I’ll pull them out on the Fourth of July for a refreshing snowball fight.
Now, I guess it’s back to business as usual. But we’ll be talking about the Great Snow of 2011 for years to come. I’ll be telling my grandchildren (if I ever get any) about it. Now, I’m just dreading the arrival of the power bill
