Today I drove over to West Point to meet with the most wonderful woman. She will be staying with my parents for a while.
She helped deliver Braddock all those years ago and she reminded me of something I’d forgotten. When she asked me what I was going to name him, I didn’t know. She suggested that I give him Daddy’s last name. Braddock. That’s what we did.
I hate to be negative, but our experience at Oktibbeha County Hospital was dismal. Not the medical care – it was superb. The doctors were fabulous. I should let it go at that. So I think I will.
