There’s a country and western song that goes like this: “throw your shoes in the backseat, drive home in your bare feet.” It had to do with shoes that pinch.
Now I hear there’s a better reason to toss at least one shoe in the back especially if you have a baby on board.
Someone came up with the idea of putting one of your shoes in the back seat with the baby.
No one would reach their destination and leave without their shoe. I don’t know what it says about our culture if people are more conscious of their shoes than a helpless baby. But this seems like a good idea to spread around to the forgetful young parents in your circle.
I once left a loaf of bread in the car in 100 degree temperature for about 10 minutes. It turned to toast. If my oven breaks, I’ll just do my baking in my auto on a sultry summer day.
