Someone sent me this note. It resonated with me and made me depressed and invigorated at the same time. It read:
“TODAY IS THE OLDEST YOU’VE EVER BEEN, YET THE YOUNGEST YOU’LL EVER BE, SO ENJOY THIS DAY WHILE IT LASTS.”
Think about that.
I like the part about being the youngest I’ll ever be. Kind of makes you determined not to waste another day, doesn’t it?
Brenda and I just began our second month training for something – we can’t remember what. Brian Arnett, our trainer, must hate us because he stepped us up to an unbelievable notch.
Brenda just came over dragging – we had planned to spend the day swapping perennials. My legs have felt like rubber for four hours and she said her thumbs don’t work anymore – Gardening must wait until later.
I’m going to sit in my chair and read my new favorite murder mystery author –Micheal Connelly. If you haven’t discovered him you should. I’m reading “The Poet” . Very good
“The Poet” is one of Connely’s best books, but I have not read one that is not excellent. Check out his website if you have not.
