I spent three hours on Sunday afternoon glued to the History Channel which carried non-stop accounts of the demise of the universe. Did you see it?
It was fascinating, troubling and probably totally off base. The series discussed the prophecies of Nostradamus, Leonardo da Vinci and Sir Isaac Newton who charted the end of the world as we know it.
Through some complicated and vague formulas, the year 2012 keeps turning up as a pivotal year for our planet. Apparently, On December 21, 2012 the planets will line up in a way like never before.
The line-up could mess with intricate balance of the planets and cause the earth to turn on its axis. The Polar Reverse will supposedly throw us into a cataclysmic episode which will only leave a small number of people to try to repopulate what is left of the earth. Madagascar was mentioned as the safest place to be.
So, I have decided to live my life as if there are only 11 months left. I will do all the things I’ve wanted to do, but was too timid to try. I will show love to everyone I meet. I will give away the things in my life that are clogging up the works and could be used by someone else.
And I’ve booked a trip to Madagascar.
