I’ve been getting numerous emails claiming that cell phone listings will go public soon, opening us up to those dreaded marketing calls.  I don’t know about you, but I don’t have enough minutes to fund such activity!

That’s the reason I got rid of my land-based phone to start with- those blasted marketers interrupted my evening snooze one time too many.

I decided to investigate the information which urges us to register our cell phones with the National Do Not Call List.  According to Snopes (which is usually reliable), this is a myth.

If anyone has any information to the contrary, please let me know asap, so I can set the record straight.
