Limits of love

On the CBS morning news I just heard that the average person falls in love four times in their lifetime.   I just don’t believe it. I fell in love four times before I even finished high school, two more times in college and three times since then.

You factor in the 27 years I was out of commission due to marriage, I feel pretty lucky. Oh, wait. I did fall in love once during the marriage – with Michael Douglas in “Romancing the Stone.”

I believe that there are no limits to loving. As long as your heart beats and your resistance is low, you can find love anywhere.

So all together, now, let’s hum “What the world needs now… is love, sweet love.”

For all you happily married folks, you don’t HAVE to fall in love four times, that’s just an average, so don’t go out hunting.
