The girls are coming for lunch tomorrow and I don’t have anything much blooming in the garden this time of the year.  Hmmm.  What can I do to bring some organic life to my dining room table?

Why not cut some hosta leaves and float them in some water in glass containers I bought at the Dollar Tree.  I wish I had some caladiums in those beautiful pinky shades.

My neighbor down the street has some beautiful caladiums.  Maybe I could sneak over after dark and “borrow one of two.”  Nah.  Not worth the guilt. I went with my dog-eared hostas.
