Tossing coins in Rome’s Trevi Fountain – did Gary and Rebecca produce snow in New Orleans? You read it here.
My friends Gary and Rebecca, formerly of New Orleans, currently residing on the other side of the pond in Abita Springs, just returned from a European cruise. They say it was the trip of a lifetime – Barcelona, Rome, Naples, and other points that make me salivate.
Above, you see them tossing coins into the Trevi Fountain where you can make a wish and see it come true. Now, I’m not suggesting that they wished for snow in South Louisiana, but chances are good it never would have happened in a million years without help from Uncle Trevi.
Voila! Snow in South Louisiana! Not since the 1800s!
“We got a about four inches, but people in nearby Ponchatoula got around six inches,” said Gary. People all around him lost power for days, but he remained warm and cozy. This is their beautiful home with Gary’s train chugging through the front lawn. He’s always had a fascination with trains.
Gary’s up in that top room “making money,” said Rebecca. She stayed downstairs in her bathrobe, eating French toast and dreaming of Paris in spring. (He better be making money!)
View from their back porch. Above, a huge tree fell on their lake. Gary’s dreading cleaning it up. The snow all disappeared yesterday when the temperatures climbed, but what a lovely sight!

Howdy! I know this is sort of off-topic however I had to ask.
Does managing a well-established website like
yours take a lot of work? I’m brand new to running a blog however I do write
in my journal everyday. I’d like to start a blog so I can easily share my own experience and views online.
Please let me know if you have any kind of ideas or tips for new aspiring blog
owners. Thankyou! wlan repeater test
